SAFETY GUARDRAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the serious social problem that pedestrians, bicycle riders, etc have been injured by sharp metal cut strips stuck at joint parts and bolt parts of guardrail and that all the samples of the metal cut strips are determined as metal cut pieces of automobile parts as a result of researches conducted by state institutions. SOLUTION: Both end parts of a guardrail are bent so that joint parts and bolt parts of the guardrail may be more inside than the side surface of the guardrail on which automobiles travel. Automobiles in contact with the guardrail are thereby not in direct contact with the joint parts or the bolt parts 5 of the guardrail to prevent automobile parts from being caught in the guardrail.
