Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-vibration/low-noise type sand pile forming method and a sand pile forming machine by which the penetration efficiency of a hollow pipe is enhanced in excavation, a pile material is compacted effectively, and a continuous sand pile having an arbitrary shape in a vertical cross section can be formed. SOLUTION: A hollow excavation head 2 is integrally rotatably mounted to the lower part of a sand pile forming hollow pipe 1. The excavation head 2 comprises an excavation bit 3 mounted at the lower end of a head body 6 in a protruding manner, a compacting member 5 protruding outward from the peripheral surface of the head body 6 at a substantially right angle so that the hole wall of a bore hole 4 may be compacted by moving excavated soil aside while rotating, and a hydraulic cylinder 9 to move the compacting member 5 back and forth. In repenetration for compaction, the compacting member 5 is made to protrude from the peripheral surface of the head body 6 so as to carry out firm compaction while pressing the pile material against the wall side of the bore hole 4.
