Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece conveying apparatus, holding down the total height. SOLUTION: This workpiece conveying apparatus includes: a holding device 50 for holding and releasing a workpiece; and an elevating device 30 having an elevating device bed 31 positioned immobile in the vertical direction to a processing machine for processing the workpiece and elevating the holding device 50 to the elevating device bed 31, wherein the holding device 50 is elevated by the elevating device 30 to carry in and out the workpiece to the processing machine. The elevating device 30 includes: an elevator 32 driven to move in the vertical direction to the elevating device bed; and an actuating arm 41, one end side of which is turnably connected to a member on the elevating device bed 31, and the other end side is turnably connected to a member on the holding device 50 body.
