PORTABLE TERMINAL AND SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal and schedule management method capable of reducing loads upon a user by simplifying operation required to confirm a schedule. SOLUTION: The portable terminal is provided with: a key operation part 3 including a specification key 10 for activating a schedule management function; a memory 1 for storing schedule data inputted in the key operation part; a clock part 11 equipped with a clock function; a voice conversion part 4 for converting schedule data into a voice signal; an audio part 9 and a speaker 5 for amplifying the converted voice signal to output it; and a control unit 2 for controlling a variety of means. When the specification key 10 is pressed, the control unit 2 specifies schedule data immediately after the current time of day acquired by the clock part 11 from among the schedule data stored in the memory 1, the voice conversion part 4 converts the schedule data into the voice signal, and the audio part 9 and the speaker 5 output the voice signal as voice.
