Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor by which the life of a coating liquid can be extended without decreasing sensitivity or durability and a photoreceptor can be stably and inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive support is characterized in that the photosensitive layer is formed by applying and drying a coating liquid which contains a resin having a polyarylate structure expressed by general formula (1) (excluding a resin having an end structure with a fluoroalkyl group as a molecular end) and uses a nonhalogen solvent as a solvent. In formula (1), R1represents a 1-4C alkyl group; each of R2, R3and R4independently represents a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C alkyl group; and m and n satisfy 0.3≤m/(m+n)≤1.0. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
