MARKING STRING FOR INK POT, AND INK POT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking string having both advantages of a silk marking string and a nylon marking string, i.e. a marking string having strength stronger than that of the nylon string and suitable extensibility similar to that of the silk string, while keeping the same diameter as a conventional marking string. SOLUTION: The marking string for an ink pot is a strand obtained by twisting the soft nylon string and a tough aramid string together. Preferably the marking string is obtained by twisting the tough string and the soft string in the proportion of 1:1 to 2. The marking string is proof against a risk of cutting even if it can be scraped during use of the ink pot, and therefore frequent exchange of the marking strings is dispensed with. When a line is drawn, the marking string has such flexibility as to be sufficiently lifted to an upper height by the hand power of the operator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
