Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication conversion control device capable of satisfying restriction in time from a request of a diagnostic test tool to an initial response by an on-vehicle ECU and realizing unifying standards for conventional vehicles. SOLUTION: When a vehicle is brought into a repair shop and items of arbitrary diagnostic information are input at a diagnostic scanning tool 2, an ECU 1 complying with regulations determines a network to which a corresponding ECU is connected, converts received input into a signal of a FlexRay communication protocol, for example, when determining that it is a request of diagnostic information to an ECU connected to a next-generation network 8 such as a FlexRay, and transmits the converted signal to the next-generation network 8. Upon receiving a response from the ECU connected to the next-generation network 8, the ECU 1 converts the received signal into a signal of high-speed CAN protocol and transmits the signal to the diagnostic scanning tool 2.
