Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape design method for a bracket of an automatic tensioner that implements shape optimization in two stages of structural mode optimization and parameter optimization. SOLUTION: The shape design method for a bracket of an automatic tensioner unit connecting a damper storage part, a pivot bearing part and a pulley mounting part: performs topology optimization or areal shape optimization for bracket rigidity maximization, stress minimization and weight reduction to compute a structural mode of the bracket (Step SP1 to SP5); approximates an optimal structural mode to determine a basic shape, sets dimensional parameters of the basic shape and performs a finite element analysis linked with the set dimensional parameters (SP6 to SP12); and optimizes the dimensions of the bracket (SP13, SP14).
