COMPUTER SYSTEM AND COMPUTER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient abnormality restoration of a copy pair, in a computer system and a computer control method, performing a remote copy by asynchronous data transfer between disk storage devices. SOLUTION: This computer system has: the first storage device having a plurality of logical volumes storing data; the second storage device having a plurality of logical volumes connected to the first storage device; and a processing part managing the copy pair in each group wherein a plurality of copy pairs configured by the logical volumes of the first storage device and the logical volumes of the second storage device are arranged, and performing the remote copy of data of the logical volume of the first storage device to the logical volume of the second storage device between the copy pair while maintaining temporal consistency of a copy state inside the group. The processing part extracts the copy pair from the belonging group when the copy pair comes into an abnormal state, moves it to an abnormality group for collecting the copy pair in the abnormal state, and performs the abnormality restoration of the copy pair in the abnormality group unit.
