Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window regulator and a tool facilitating its installation. SOLUTION: The window regulator has a normally/reversely rotatable drum; an annular wire 71 a part of which is wound around the drum; guide members 81, 83, 91, 93 mounted to an inner panel to guide the wire 71 so that the wire 71 is arranged along the lifting direction of window glass 53; a sag stop means for energizing the wire 71 in a stretching direction to eliminate the sag of the wire 71; and window glass mounting means 101, 103 for mounting the window glass 53 to portions, extending along the lifting direction of the window glass 53, of the wire 71. The window regulator further comprises a bracket 131 rotatably mounted to the inner panel and provided with the guide member 83 to guide the guide member 83 to a mounting part of the inner panel.
