Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental composition capable of exhibiting excellent adhesion, capable of accelerating remineralization of an area around a diseased part, and capable of being used as a remineralization accelerating material, a dental adhesive material, an adhesive material for a living body, and a caries detecting material. SOLUTION: A dental material contains a monomer calcium salt (SA) which is formed by substantially completely neutralizing an acidic group of a monomer (A) having a polymerizable group and at least one acidic group selected from a group consisting of a carboxylic acid group and a phosphoric acid group in its molecule with calcium and/or a polymer calcium salt (SP) which comprises a polymer (P) of a polymerizable monomer including the monomer (A) having the polymerizable group and at least one of the acidic group selected from the group consisting of the carboxylic acid group and the phosphoric acid group in its molecule and is formed by substantially completely neutralizing the acidic group with the calcium.
