Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drill holder boring an object which is provided with a surface layer, with an installed drill, and to surely secure the boring length from the surface of the object, while eliminating the surface layer to the required minimum. SOLUTION: In this drill holder 2, the drill 4 as a boring machine 1 is installed in a drill insertion hole 3 provided in a leading end 10b, and assembled to transmit the rotating force from a drill driving section 5. The end 10b of the drill holder 2 is formed of a plane 12 nearly crossing a rotary shaft P of the drill 4 projected from the drill insertion hole 3 and a substantially orthogonal flat plane 12. The end 10b of the drill holder 2 is provided with a cutting blade 14 and a heel 15 formed in an edge 12a of the plane 12 by notching from the plane 12 toward the base end 10a.
