INPUT COUPLING DEVICE FOR SOLID-STATE LASER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent laser beams from leaking or radiating, even if a laser beam source is not changed to off-terminal, when a laser beam cable is exchanged. SOLUTION: An optical beam switch (6) is controlled by a safety elements (8 and 8'), and is arranged in front of a cable connection (4) from the viewpoint of an optical path of a laser beam (2). The beam switch (6) turns the laser beam (2) toward the cable connection (4) only at safety positions of the safety elements (8 and 8'); or a closing element (16) controlled by the safety elements (8 and 8') is arranged in front of the cable connection (4) from the viewpoint of an optical path of a laser beam (2), and the closing element (16) makes the laser beam (2) pass through toward the cable connection (4) only at the safety positions of the safety elements (8 and 8').
