Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional fiber obtained by chemically bonding a metal oxide with a fiber without using a resin and another adhesive. SOLUTION: The composite of a metal oxide and sericin is fixed on a fiber base material by increasing dispersion stability, wherein an ultrasonic washer and a vortex generator are applied to a dispersion aqueous solution so as to obtain a sericin-titanium oxide dispersion aqueous solution, which dispersion aqueous solution is obtained by mixing predetermined amounts of (1) rutile type titanium dioxide particles having 0.01-0.03 μm particle size and whose surface is covered with aluminum hydroxide and stearic acid and (2) sericin powder powdered by using a vacuum-freeze dryer and preserved. The functions of UV wave absorption, active oxygen generation, active oxygen absorption, deodorization, sterilization and the like can be imparted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
