Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing heat conductivity of a thermal barrier coating by incorporating a metal oxide into a ceramic matrix. SOLUTION: The method for reducing heat conductivity of the thermal barrier coating comprises the steps of: depositing a mixture containing a ceramic matrix and a metal dispersoid capable of forming the metal oxide on a substrate to form one or more layers, heating the one or more layers at a sufficient temperature for a sufficient time for oxidizing the metal dispersoid, and forming one or more layers of thermal barrier coating. The thermal barrier coating contains the ceramic matrix and the metal oxide dispersed throughout the ceramic matrix. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
