Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition and a toner composition that improves dispersibility of a coloring material and solid matter and increases the reflection density of the recorded matter. SOLUTION: The block polymer has two repeated structures represented by general formulas (1) and (2). The block polymer according to this invention improves dispersibility of the coloring material and solid matter and can increase the reflection density of the recorded matter. Since it is suitable for increasing the reflection density, the block polymer is mixed with the solvent or the dispersion medium and the coloring agent and is used in compositions such as ink compositions, toner compositions or the like, recording materials, and in the image-recording method using the recording material and in the image recording device.
