Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and dermatological compositions having properties of imparting good consistency in the same manner as that of a naturally produced wax, easy aqueous and oil compatibility and a visually transparent appearance, easily processable, compatible with an effective substance (e.g. an anti-suntan filter), gentle to the skin, toxicologically nontoxic, having good skin touch, sticking to the skin and hair and having water resistance. SOLUTION: A homopolymer and/or a copolymer wax of ethylene and/or propylene monomer is produced by carrying out low-pressure polymerization of ethylene and/or propylene in the presence of a metallocene catalyst. The homopolymer and/or copolymer wax of ethylene and/or propylene monomer have ≤25,000 g/mol weight-average molecular weight Mw and a narrow molecular weight distribution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
