Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for determining a degradation of a compressive connecting pipe which safely facilitate a work for determining the degradation of the compressive connecting pipe for connecting an electric wire. SOLUTION: A pair of contact terminals are disposed at the electric wire 14 drawn from an opening of the compressive connecting pipe 13 for compressively bonding and connecting the electric wire 14 and an end of the opening of the compressive connecting pipe 11. An measuring instrument 18 measures a voltage between the contact terminals 16a, 16b, compares a measured voltage value with an administrative value, and determines the degradation of the compressive connecting pipe 11.
