BATTERY RESIDUAL QUANTITY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR POSITION INFORMATION NOTIFICATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery residual quantity notification system for a position information notification terminal capable of taking an effective countermeasure against theft by monitoring a charge state (residual quantity) of the battery of the position information notification terminal to be used for theft prevention of an automobil or the like, informing a user of the position information notification system of a shortage of charge residual quantity of the battery via an E-mail or the like, and urging him/her to charge the battery, exchange batteries, or the like. SOLUTION: When the position information notification terminal 1 monitors a battery residual quantity of the battery 13 in a CPU 12 and detects a shortage of charge residual quantity of the battery, it transmits to a monitor center 2 information 4 on the shortage of charge residual quantity of the battery via a radio communication terminal 11. The monitor center 2 which receives the information 4 on the shortage of charging residual quantity of the battery transmits to the user 3 of the position information notification system an E-mail 5 to notify the shortage of charge residual quantity of the battery 13. The user 3 can know the shortage of charge of the battery 13 of the position information notification terminal 1 by receiving the E-mail 5 by a PC 31 or a portable terminal 32.
