TOOL BAR DEVICE USED FOR WEB BROWSER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new tool bar display for displaying a number of tool bars by selecting a necessary menu (or mode) as needed without extending the occupied area on a Web browser display screen. SOLUTION: The tool bar device to be used with additional installation to a Web browser comprises an installed tool bar detection means detecting whether a tool bar already installed to the browser is present or not at installation time; and an installation means storing and installing, when the installed tool bar is present, a tool bar into the framework of the installed tool bar. The installation means displays the tool bar added later in a drop-down menu, a button, a tub or the like within the framework. This device further comprises a framework replacement means replacing, after installation of a plurality of tool bars, a tool bar to be displayed as a framework. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
