Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detecting device capable of accurately recognizing the state of a defect by accurately detecting the phase of echo from inspected material regardless of the kind of the ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: An arithmetic means 40 of the ultrasonic flaw detecting device 100 executes a step of detecting a maximum value PBof the positive peak and a maximum value NBof the absolute value of the negative peak of echo EBfrom the reference piece surface and calculating the amplitude ratio B=Log(PB/NB), a step of detecting a maximum value PTof the positive peak and a maximum value NTof the absolute value of the negative peak of echo ETfrom the inside of the inspected material and calculating the amplitude ratio T=Log(PT/NT), and a step of calculating the ratio T/B of each inspected part of the inspected material. A display means 50 performs different B scope display or C scope display corresponding to each inspected part of the inspected material according to the ratio T/B value and the larger value of the maximum value PTand maximum value NT.
