Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket capable of providing sufficient sealability by securing an ideal seal line. SOLUTION: This gasket 7 of an elastic material is interposed between two members integrally joined to each other and seals between these two members. A gasket groove 6 allowing the gasket 7 to be fitted therein is formed in the sealed face 4a of one member 4 of these two members. The gasket groove 6 is formed in an annular shape including a circular arc part 6a, and the portion 7a of the gasket 7 corresponding to the circular arc part 6a is elastically deformed in a centrifugal direction when the gasket 7 is fitted to the gasket groove 6 and joined to each other, its lateral center position is displaced, and it is formed in such a shape that is approximately aligned with the lateral center position C of the circular arc part 6a of the gasket groove 6.
