Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production quantity of soot by limiting fuel injection quantity and reducing quantity of fuel left in a combustion chamber without atomization when it is under a condition where pressure of fuel is low and it is difficult to atomize a state of spray of fuel injected from the fuel injection valve in a fuel injection quantity control device for an engine. SOLUTION: A control means is provided with a fuel quantity adjustment part keeping fuel pressure detected by the fuel pressure detection means lower than a set value at a time of engine start and injecting fuel of fuel injection quantity at a time of cylinder determination completion calculated by an injection quantity calculating part at a time of completion of cylinder determination by a cylinder determination part.
