Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical method capable of manufacturing a metal-including carbon nanocapsule with an easy technique simply and also inexpensively compared to a conventional method. SOLUTION: Plasma is generated by electric discharge in a single gas or a mixed gas consisting essentially of C and H or C, O and H as an element constitution, and a substrate consisting of an iron group metal or an iron group alloy positively charged is placed in the plasma or in the vicinity of the plasma, to synthesize the metal-including carbon nanocapsule on the surface of the substrate. An atomic number ratio of C:H is set in (0.001-0.5):1. In addition, a ratio of C:O:H is set in (0.001-0.5):(0.001-0.5):1, and the number of atoms of O is set smaller than that of C.
