TREATING METHOD OF RESIDUAL GAS IN AMMONIA TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of residual gas in an ammonia tank safely treating the residual gas in the liquid ammonia storage tank with a simple facility and simple operation. SOLUTION: In this decomposition treating method of residual ammonia gas in the liquid ammonia storage tank by taking out of the tank, ammonia gas taken out using the inner pressure of the tank is led to a catalytic combustion device having a catalyst column and treated, inert gas is injected into the tank to dilute residual ammonia gas and make it flow out, the flowing-out mixed gas is led to the catalytic combustion device having the catalyst column for treating, and a flow rate of ammonia gas or the flowing-out mixed gas to the catalytic combustion device is regulated according to the temperature in the catalyst column.
