MOTOR PROTECTOR FOR VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor protector for a vacuum cleaner with a structure improved therein, by which a motor is efficiently cooled in driving the vacuum cleaner (1) and the amount of noise generated in driving the vacuum cleaner is reduced (2). SOLUTION: The motor protector 200 includes: a through-hole 215 formed in a partitioning wall 25 for surrounding a motor chamber 20; a bulb member 250 to be elastically moved between a first position (P1) for covering the through-hole 215 and a second position (P2) separated from the through-hole 215; and a casing 220 arranged in the partitioning wall to enclose the outer part of the bulb member 250 so as to guide the movement of the bulb member 250. An interval between the inner peripheral surface of the casing 220 and the bulb member 250 is formed to be the minimum at the first position (P1) and to be the maximum at the second position (P2) in the motor protector.
