Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle gateway apparatus which will not cause the time required for routing processing to increase, even if channels are made multiple. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle gateway apparatus 1 is for controlling the transfer of frame data between multiple communication channels and includes a search engine part 11 for routing the frame data between the multiple communication channels and a transmission FIFO 21 for temporarily storing the routed frame data, that are respectively provided for each of the multiple communication channels. By providing the search engine part 11 and the transmission FIFO 21 for each of the multiple communication channels, the parallel processing of routing becomes possible. Thus, the time required for the routing processing will not be made to increase, even if the on-vehicle gateway apparatus has multiple communication channels. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
