Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition suitable for use in a light absorption layer for display element, and a new structure of light absorption layer suitable for use in the display element. SOLUTION: The display element has a light absorption layer containing metal nano particles in a matrix material. The suitable matrix material includes an organic material, an inorganic material, a polymer material and a material combining them. The metal nano particles can form various regular or irregular shapes and/or two-dimensional or three-dimensional structure. The metal nano particles can have a particle diameter of about 2-20 nm. In some of embodiments, the distribution of particle diameter of the nano particles is ±75% or less. The light absorption layer can form a multi-layer structure including an individual light absorption layer of two-layers or more.
