FAULT INFLUENCE ANALYSIS DEVICE, FAULT INFLUENCE ANALYSIS METHOD AND FAULT INFLUENCE ANALYSIS PROGRAM FOR SOFTWARE MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently investigate the area of influence of a fault in a software module. SOLUTION: A system comprises a fault point identification part 110 for identifying a fault point in a faulty module, a parent/child version extraction part 111 for extracting a parent module that is the version from which the faulty module has been created and child modules that are the versions which have been created from the faulty module, by reference to a module master database 201 storing version-based information on parent-child relationships between modules, a fault point survival check part 112 for checking whether the fault point identified by the fault point identification part 110 survives in the parent or child module versions extracted by the parent/child version extraction part 111, and an output processing part 113 for outputting the results of the fault point survival check to an output interface.
