SOLUTION: This display unit has a liquid crystal display panel 11a, a support resin frame 12 to supporting the periphery of this liquid crystal display panel 11a, a light source 13 for emitting a light that passes through the liquid crystal display panel 11a, and a metal reflecting plate 14 fixed to the support frame 12 and having a flat reflecting surface 14a for reflecting the illumination light from the light source 13, to the liquid crystal display plate 11a.
