Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring the spatial temperature distribution of the flame emanated from a burner nozzle, used in manufacturing a tapered optical fiber. SOLUTION: The method and the apparatus are provided to measure the spatial temperature distribution of the flame generated from the burner nozzle with respect to the use in manufacturing the tapered optical fiber and a fuse coupler.
