CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF SAND REMOVAL FACILITY USING TEMPORARY DRAINAGE CHANNEL IN BANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method capable of relatively inexpensively and efficiently constructing a sand removal facility for discharging sediment in a water reservoir of a dam to the downstream side. SOLUTION: This construction method includes a process of removing concrete from a temporary drainage channel arranged in a bank body as a temporary drainage channel when constructing the dam and blocked up by filling the concrete after constructing the dam, a process of forming an opening on the upstream side of the temporary drainage channel filled with the concrete, a process of forming a work space by enclosing the upstream side opening periphery before the process of forming the upstream side opening, a process of forming a discharge passage for passing the sediment through a tunnel of removing the concrete, and a process of arranging a means for opening and closing the discharge passage for adjusting a discharge quantity of water including the sediment.
