Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure of a plate shaped building which enables flexible plane planning and shows high earthquake resistance. SOLUTION: This building is the plate shaped building 1 with a rigid-frame structure which is longer in a ridge direction X than in a span direction Y. Since the plate shaped building 1 has a shorter width in a span direction Y, it has a large aspect ratio in a span direction Y and tends to swing in a span direction Y. Accordingly both gable surfaces 2, 2 of the plate shaped building 1 respectively have a pair of core walls 3, 3 formed in a line in a span direction Y. A boundary beam damper 4 is arranged in a height direction between the pair of the core walls 3, 3. The core wall 3 is a high-strength continuous layer earthquake resistant wall using ultra-high-strength concrete and a high-strength reinforcing rod and bears a large horizontal force. The boundary beam damper 4 is a steel-framed beam formed of extremely low yield point steel and a cross section of the steel-framed beam may be an H shape or a box shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
