Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding molten steel temperature, in which quick correspondence is taken by a comparatively simple method and even when a change in the condition is caused in a treating process in the case of deciding the molten steel temperature at the finishing time of treatment for securing the molten steel temperature in a tundish at the following process of continuous casting to a prescribed value, in a degassing refining, and in addition, the molten steel temperature can accurately be decided . SOLUTION: When the molten steel temperature at the finishing time of refining in the degassing treatment process is decided so that excessive heating degree in the tundish of the molten steel for casting in the continuous casting process as the following process becomes the prescribed value. The similar heat to the heat to be decided to the molten steel temperature is selected among the past actual results of operational data base. Based on the plurality of selected similar heats, a regression formula for molten steel temperature in the tundish, is prepared, and based on this regression formula, the molten steel temperature at the finishing time of the degassing refining is decided.
