SKIN CARE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation capable of being suitably applied to inflammation such as allergic inflammation and atopic dermatitis, of which the control is difficult for an ordinary anti-inflammatory, such as indomethacin or prednisolone. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation contains (1) a 4-alkylresorcinol derivative expressed by general formula (1) (R1is a 5-8C alkyl) and/or a salt thereof and (2) a betulinic acid-related substance. It is preferable that the 4-alkylresorcinol derivative expressed by general formula (1) comprises 4-hexylresorcinol, 4-cyclohexylresorcinol, or 4-cyclopentylresorcinol. Further, it is preferable that the betulinic acid-related substance comprises a substance selected from betulinic acid, a salt of the betulinic acid, a betulinic acid alkyl ester, and betulin.
