Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a braking force from becoming small as a means of adding a yawing moment to one's own vehicle because of the low temperature of a brake pad, and also to prevent a delay in the timing of the generation of the braking force. SOLUTION: A device for preventing deviation from a lane preheats the brake pad and raises the temperature of the brake pad to a predetermined temperature (a step S10) by bringing the brake pad and a rotor into contact with each other when the temperature of the brake pad of a wheel, which generates the braking force, is lower than a predetermined temperature (a step S6) in the case where it is predicted and judged that there is a tendency of deviation from the lane (a step S4). In the case where it is judged that there is a tendency of deviation from the lane, a required yawing moment is added to one's own vehicle with a predetermined braking force (a step S9 and a step S11).
