MICROBE REMOVING APPARATUS AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microbe removing apparatus capable of removing a microbe in contaminated water in a high removal rate and also having high treatment capability, and its method. SOLUTION: The contaminated water containing the microbe and ferrite are mixed by a mixing means 2 to adhere the ferrite to the microbe. A mixed mixture solution is magnetically flocculated by a magnet flocculation means 3 to magnetically flocculate the ferrite included in the mixture solution. The flocculated material is settled in the mixture solution by settling means 4. Thus, the flocculated material including the microbe attached with the ferrite can be settled in the mixture solution. A supernatant liquid of the mixture solution in which the flocculated material is settled by the settling means 4 is recovered by a recovery means 5. Treated water from which the microbe of 99.9% or more is removed by the recovery means 5 can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
