AIR-TIGHT/WATERPROOF PACKING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-tight/waterproof packing material capable of being used for pipe materials of various pipe diameters as a single product, being manufactured at low cost, and dispensing with preparation of packing materials for various pipe diameters, so that both of a manufacturer side and a user side are allowed to keep inventory as small as possible. SOLUTION: This air-tight/waterproof packing material is provided with a thin plate base 1 of flexible material having the appropriate shape of square, cycle or the like, and a plurality of steps 3 are concentrically formed from a central portion of the thin plate base 1. The steps 3 have the circular or square shape, and the difference in level is about 3 mm. Further the thin plate base 1 may be made of foamed polyethylene, the other foamed resins, or rubber. Further a hole 2 may be formed on the central portion of the thin plate base 1 and the plurality of steps 3 are formed concentrically with respect to the hole 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
