BOOM OF HYDRAULIC SHOVEL AND PIPING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boom of a hydraulic shovel and a piping structure capable of suppressing the expansion to the rear of hydraulic hoses in a state to stand the boom to the smaller extent without incurring any harmful influence such as a lowering of strength of a boom foot or the like. SOLUTION: A guide recess section 20 guiding hydraulic hoses 16 as hydraulic piping is provided to the boom foot 19 of the basic end section of the boom. The guide recess section 20 is provided along a rear curved part 16c turned to the back side of the boom curved from the basic end side of the boom in a state to pull down the boom 17 in the hydraulic hoses 16, and it is so constituted that the rear curved part 16c is fitted to the guide recess section 20 to make the expansion to the rear smaller.
