Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of preventing the presence of a light source inside thereof from being visually observed from an illumination cover, and suppressing occurrence of any illumination uniformity. SOLUTION: The parapet illumination 7 is constituted so that the light from a light source 14 is emitted from an illumination cover 13 via a light dispersion means 15. Since the light emitted from the light source 14 is not emitted directly from the illumination cover 13, the presence of the light source inside thereof is not visually observed through the illumination cover 13. Further, since the light from the light source 14 is dispersed by the light dispersion means 15, occurrence of illumination uniformity on the illumination cover 13 can be suppressed.
