Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for trimming a 6000 series aluminum alloy sheet by which occurrence of chips is easily and surely reduced without disturbing a shearing process itself. SOLUTION: In the method for sharing the aluminum alloy sheet 1 with an upper edge 3 and a lower edge 4, the under surface 3a of the upper edge 3 is always positioned in the upper part of the upper surface 4a of the lower edge 4. The interval when the interval d between the under surface 3a of the upper edge 3 and the upper surface 4a of the lower edge 4 is minimam is defined as 15 to 70% of the thickness t of the aluminum alloy sheet 1.
