Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt height measuring method capable of determining the height accurately even when the bolt is dirty, a bolt looseness determination method, a bolt height measuring device and a bolt looseness detection device. SOLUTION: This bolt height measuring method has characteristics wherein a bolt head top face whose height is to be measured is irradiated with slit-shaped inspection light, and the magnitude of deviation between a linear light figure formed on the bolt head top face by the inspection light and a reference line having the known height and parallel to the light figure is determined, and the height of the bolt head is determined based on the determined magnitude of deviation.
