Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine improved in operation efficiency by efficiently absorbing or radiating heat. SOLUTION: The Stirling engine 1 comprises a regenerator 2 having a filler 3 filled through voids D in a gas passage 9 of annular cross section provided between a compression space 17 and an expansion space 18, and recovering heat of operating gas flowing through the voids D, by the filler 3, and a heat radiating side heat exchanger 5 and a heat absorbing side heat exchanger 7 having radially arranged heat exchanging fins 5a, 7a and adjoining both end faces of the regenerator 2 to exchange heat with outside air. Heat is recovered by the regenerator 2 from the operating gas flowing between the compression space 17 and the expansion space 18.
