POLYGONAL PYRAMID STRUCTURE WITHOUT STRUCTURAL MATERIAL AT RIDGE LINE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polygonal pyramid structure so formed to have no structural materials or have no need of structural materials such as a ridge piece and a ridge beam at the positions of ridge lines and a method of constructing the structure. SOLUTION: In this polygonal pyramid structure, a main frame is formed of a horizontal annular frame body A formed in a polygonal closed shape in plan view equal in shape to a body formed by horizontally sectionally splitting the outline of a polygonal pyramid structure to be constructed and a plurality of vertical member frames C vertically disposed, parallel with each other, along the outline surface of the structure on the sides of the horizontal annular frame body A excluding the positions B at the corner portions thereof and supportedly joining the vertical horizontal annular frame bodies A and A.
