Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy extruded material which has high productivity, is excellent in formability because cavitation hardly occurs even when forming at high temperature, so as to obtain high strength, and to provide a high temperature formed part. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy extruded material for high temperature forming is obtained by extruding an aluminum alloy ingot having an alloy composition containing, by mass, 0.5 to 2.0% Mg, 4.0 to 7.0% Zn, ≤0.35% Cu, ≤0.2% Zr, ≤0.25% Cr, ≤0.5% Mn and ≤0.1% Ti, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, wherein the thickness of a surface recrystallized layer is ≤300 μm.
