Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure to reduce cost, to perform miniaturization, and to ensure electrical contact in a contact of a switch to improve reliability, by equipping the switch having a first contact member displaced in a thickness direction by abutment of the upper face or the lower face of a card, and a second contact member contacting with or separated from the first contact member. SOLUTION: This connector 10 for the card has: a housing 11 storing the card having terminal members; connection terminals installed to a rear wall part of the housing 11, contacting with the terminal members of the card; and the switch having the first contact member 21 and the second contact member 22 installed to a side wall part of the housing 11. The first contact member 21 is displaced in the thickness direction of the card by abutting on the upper face or the lower face of the card, to contact with or be separated from the second contact member 22.
