Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster-prevention closing apparatus for an elevator by which a user can effectively escape when a disaster such as a fire breaks up, and to provide a method for operating the apparatus. SOLUTION: Disaster-prevention shutter apparatuses 10 installed at respective floors to and from which users moves up and down by the elevator are controlled by a control means. In occurrence of a fire, first of all, all of the shutter apparatuses 10 are closed. When an elevator box 3 arrives at a floor designated by the user in the elevator box 3, the door 4 of the elevator box 3 and an elevator door 6 are opened, and the shutter apparatus 10 at this designated floor is opened. After the users escape from the elevator box, the doors 4 and 6 are closed and the shutter apparatus 10 at the designated floor is closed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
