COMMUNICATION TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device which is capable of improving a system configuration in flexibility without limiting the installation site of remote terminal equipment through a process of keeping the communication terminal device in the suspended state of operation for a long term without using a commercial AC power supply etc. SOLUTION: A communication terminal platform is modularized so as to control a communication means, which is equipped with a communication protocol that makes data communications by radio possible and an electronic mail transmitting/receiving function, and a storage means, which stores application software for controlling the remote terminal equipment, through a common CPU, and the modularized communication terminal platform is combined with the remote terminal equipment to constitute a communication terminal device, and an electric power is supplied to the communication terminal platform from a battery power supply.
