PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a signal loope caused by the simultaneous use of a plurality of communication media in a communication network simultaneously using a plurality of the communication media. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus includes an identification information cross-reference storage section 105 for storing the medium-by-medium terminal identification information of each terminal on the network and a transfer propriety determining section 106, the identification information cross-reference storage section 105 stores the identification information of data at the reception of the data and the identification information of a sender terminal of the data, and also stores the identification information of a destination terminal of a response signal and the identification information of the sender terminal at the reception of the response signal, and the identification information of the data affirmatively replied by the response signal. Further, the transfer propriety determining section 106 determines whether or not the data are transferred on the basis of the identification information of the transfer destination terminal and the identification information stored in the identification information cross-reference storage section 105 at the transfer of the data.
