Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding electronic component which can effectively reduce an impact noise/impact vibration caused from an automatically returning member when a moving member, such as a rotating member, returns to a specified position automatically. SOLUTION: The rotating electronic component (sliding electronic component) has a base 80, a rotating member (moving member) 50 which is located opposed to the surface of the base 80, an electric function portion (slider 67 etc.) which varies an electric output according to the movement of the rotating member 50 placed between the base 80 and the rotating member 50, and a pressing member 79 which presses the opposite surface of the located base 80 of the rotating member 50 to keep constantly the distance between the base 80 and rotating member 50. The rotating electronic component is constructed in a manner such that a torsion coil spring (automatically returning member) 73, which provides for a resilient force automatically returning the rotating member 50 to the specified position, is contained in the rotating member 50. A grease-interposed surface, a friction-sliding surface, or a grease-interposed/friction-sliding surface 65, 795 is placed as a resistance providing portion which provides a resistance against the rotating of the rotating member 50 for the opposed surface between the pressing member 79 and the rotating member 50.
